420 Visuals from The Artist Tree

share with

Hey SoCal! Yesterday, cannabis connoisseurs of Southern California celebrated April 20th (aka 420). In honor of this high holy day, we sent photographer Jason Kentaro to The Artist Tree in West Hollywood for the grand opening of their new cannabis consumption lounge to capture the high points on camera. Enjoy the visuals!

The Artist Tree’s Muse

This dispensary/art venue hybrid is the brainchild of Lauren Fontein.

High Art

In addition to purveying pot, The Artist Tree also serves as a showcase for local minority artists.

New Amsterdam

As part of the 4/20 festivities, The Artist Tree debuted its new cannabis cafe. It’s one of the few places in the entire country where patrons can publicly partake in cannabis consumption. AT’s goals is to surplant Amsterdam as the next mecca for marijuana.

Kweenz and Greenz

In addition to art and edibles, AT’s new lounge also offers a performance venue for WeHo’s myriad drag queens.
