

A woman was critically injured Thursday when she fell about 100 feet from a cliff at Point Fermin in the San Pedro area.
Firefighters were sent to 1 Point Fermin about 12:10 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Rescuers used a helicopter to hoist the woman to safety and transport her to a hospital, the LAFD reported. The circumstances of the woman’s injuries were under investigation.
