Public’s help needed to find 15-year-old girl missing in East Los Angeles

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department investigators are asking for the public’s help Tuesday in locating a missing 15-year-old girl in East Los Angeles.

Stephanie Saavedra was last seen at approximately 6 p.m. Saturday on the 400 block of Woods Avenue, said Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

Stephanie is Latina, 4 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds, has long, straight blonde hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray sweater and blue jeans.

Anyone with information about Stephanie or knows of her whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500.
