Authorities Monday were seeking a 30-year-old woman diagnosed with early signs of dementia who was last seen in Lynwood.

Amelia McTaggart was last seen at about 7:45 a.m. on Sept. 25 near her home in the 3000 block of Euclid Avenue, according to Deputy Eva Jimenez of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

McTaggart is white, 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds, with dirty blonde hair, blue eyes and a tattoo of three stars near her right eye. She was last seen wearing a black V-neck shirt and short jean shorts.

Anyone with information on McTaggart’s whereabouts was asked to call the Sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. Anonymous tips can be called in to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or submitted online at lacrimestoppers.org.
