A Silver Alert was issued Monday for a missing 84-year-old man who was last seen in Long Beach.

Pedro Vital was last seen around 6 a.m. in the area of Daisy Avenue and West Hill Street, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the Silver Alert on behalf of the Long Beach Police Department.

Vital is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a purple checkered shirt, blue jeans and black tennis shoes.

Anyone who sees Vital was asked to call 911.
