Overnight closures of the westbound Foothill (210) Freeway in the Sylmar area are scheduled to begin Friday evening as part of an ongoing paving project.
The closure will take place between the Golden State (5) Freeway and Roxford Street between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and will end on Monday at 5 a.m. according to Caltrans.
The connector road from the westbound 210 Freeway to the 5 Freeway along with the westbound 5 Freeway ramps at Yarnell Street will also be closed during the scheduled work.
Some closures may start and end later, and all closures are weather-permitting and subject to change. The work involves the striping and staging of a temporary lane configuration for the paving project.
