Authorities Monday identified a unhoused man who was struck and killed by a vehicle while pushing a wheelchair on the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway near downtown Los Angeles.

Leonard Gonzales Zamora, 70, was fatally injured about 4:30 a.m. Sunday near Adams Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office and the California Highway Patrol.

No description was available of the vehicle that hit him, according to the CHP, which urged anyone with information on the case to call the CHP Central Los Angeles office at 213-744-2331.
