A Silver Alert was issued Monday for a 62-year-old man who was last seen in Lancaster.
John Frias was last seen about 2 a.m. Sunday in the area of 15th Street West and Avenue J, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Frias is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs 125 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeve denim shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
Anyone who has seen Frias or has knowledge of his whereabouts was asked to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
