A man was shot to death Monday in a Compton intersection.
The shooting was reported around midnight at Linsley Street and White Avenue, said Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Arriving deputies found the victim suffering from a single gunshot wound to the upper body, Koerner said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives went to the scene to look for witnesses and evidence, Koerner said.
