

Authorities Thursday morning identified a man who was shot and killed in the Westlake District.
Officers responded about 1:20 a.m. Wednesday to the 1900 block of Third Street, near Alvarado Street, and found the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
According to CBS Los Angeles, the man was shot multiple times.
The victim was identified by the Los Angeles County coroner’s office as 19-year-old Johnathan Hernandez.
A preliminary investigation determined two suspects approached Hernandez and one opened fire before both suspects ran off, police said.
A detailed description of the suspects was not immediately available.
