Man arrested in double murder, attempted murder at Pasadena park
A 21-year-old man was arrested in connection with a double homicide in a Pasadena park last year, the Pasadena Police Department announced Wednesday.
Christopher Paul Hall of Pasadena was taken into custody last Thursday after search warrants were served at various locations in Southern California that yielded evidence in the case, but no other details were released, police said.
Hall was booked into the Pasadena Police Department jail and his bail was set at $5.155 million. He is set to appear in court Tuesday in Department D of the Pasadena courthouse.
The department is still seeking additional suspects.
Officers were sent to the 300 block of Parke Street, near Los Robles Avenue, about 3 p.m. Dec. 1 on reports of a shooting and found three men suffering from gunshot wounds in the northeast section of Villa Parke, police said.
Cristino Avila, 51, died at the scene, and Aaron Flores, 40, died at hospital, according to the coroner’s office. The third man was critically injured, but survived.
