On Tuesday, at approximately 2:58 p.m., Pasadena police responded to the 300 block of Parke Street regarding a report of a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and located three victims in the northeast portion of Villa Parke, adjacent to the soccer field. Officers approached the victims to render medical aide when they determined one victim was deceased at the scene. The other two victims were in critical condition and rushed to a local hospital by paramedics. One of the victims who was transported succumbed to his injuries at the hospital and the third remains in critical but stable condition. All three victims were struck by gunfire.

Police are actively canvassing the area for potential evidence and witnesses.

A preliminary investigation revealed the victims were at a park bench in the northeast portion of the park when the suspect(s) fired upon them and fled in a vehicle, possibly described as a dark-colored sedan.

The investigation is on-going, and no further details are available at this time.

Anyone with information about this case is urged to call the Pasadena Police Department at (626) 744-4241 or “Crime Stoppers” at (800) 222-TIPS (8477).
