The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s help finding an at-risk missing man last seen Sunday in Rosemead.

LASD announced the search Monday. Nicolas Gallegos, 69, was last spotted on May 9 at 5:10 a.m. on the 1200 block of San Gabriel Boulevard in Rosemead.

Gallegos is described as a 5’5″, 150 lb., Hispanic man with graying hair and brown eyes wearing a white shirt with blue pants, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

“Mr. Gallegos suffers from schizophrenia, and several medical conditions (cancer, diabetes, kidney disease and more). His family has not seen or heard from him,” read the release from LASD. “They are very concerned and asking for the public’s help.”

Anyone with relevant information relating to the whereabouts of Mr. Gallegos is urged to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Missing Persons Unit at (323) 890-5500. To report an anonymous tip, call “Crime Stoppers” at (800) 222-TIPS (8477) or download the Crime Stoppers app – more information available at http://lacrimestoppers.org.
