Here are all Marvel’s planned Disney+ shows
The Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to grow. Just as The Mandalorian expanded the Star Wars galaxy, Marvel will do the same with a slew of new TV shows, debuting on Disney+. Some focus on familiar faces from the films, while others will introduce new heroes. Here, we break down everything we know so far about Marvel’s move to TV.
First up is the weird and wonderful WandaVision, centering on Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch and Paul Bettany’s Vision. This trippy series is inspired by classic TV sitcoms throughout the decades (and will hopefully answer the question of how Vision is seemingly alive and well, given that he graphically kicked the bucket in Avengers: Infinity War). Kathryn Hahn also stars as the classic “nosy neighbor” type, with Teyonah Parris playing young hero Monica Rambeau (whom fans first met as a child in Captain Marvel).
He’s the captain now: Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) inherited Captain America’s shield in Endgame, and this new series (debuting in 2021) will follow Sam and Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) as they face off against returning Civil War villain Helmut Zemo (Daniel Brühl).
