

A seemingly malnourished mountain lion that was captured under the crawl space of a Monrovia home two weeks ago after roaming the area for days has died, a wildlife official announced Monday morning.
The big cat had reportedly suffered serious injuries to its neckand was being treated by veterinarians. He was also being treated for otherhealth issues including dehydration and kidney problems.
According to a spokesperson for the California Department of Fishand Wildlife, a necropsy is scheduled to be done and will offer more details onthe animal’s untimely death.
