Construction Impacts Traffic on Myrtle Avenue

MyrtleAvenue will be partially closed due to construction work and equipment stagingas a part of the development project in the 800 block of South Myrtle. In orderto facilitate a safe construction zone, the 800 Block of South Myrtle Avenue(from Walnut Avenue to Chestnut Avenue) will be closed to southbound vehiculartraffic. Northbound traffic will still be open for vehicular traffic butmotorists should expect partial delays. Traffic detours will be established andclearly marked for the general public and motorists. Motorists are advised todrive safely and follow all posted detour and construction signage, and usealternate routes.

Theseimpacts are planned to be in place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the following days:

  • Tuesday, May 26.
  • Wednesday, May 27.
  • Thursday, May 28.
  • Wednesday, June 3.
