In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Monrovia City Council suspendedparking enforcement activities, except for illegal parking considered ahazard or danger to the public.

Since suspending parking enforcement, the city reports an increasein recreational vehicles (RVs) parking on the street for several days at atime.

In accordance with Monrovia Municipal Code, RV owners arerequired to purchase a “RV Permit” or a “RV Guest Permit”for non-residents to park their RVs overnight on city streets. The applicationfor RV parking permits can be found on the city’s website. A parkingpermit costs $5 per day, and is valid for up to three days.
