April 12
Shortlybefore 2:26 a.m., officers responded to European Motorworks, located at 86 W.Live Oak Ave., regarding a possible commercial burglary in progress. Surveillancefootage revealed two suspects stole tires, wheels, and a floor jack. Thesuspects, a 28-year-old male from Arcadia and a 29-year-old male from El Monte,were identified and released in the field.
Atapproximately 3:45 p.m., an officer responded to Ikrusher,located at 11818 Clark St., regarding a grand theft report. Surveillancefootage revealed the suspect entered the locked yard and fled with stolen scaffolding.The suspect is described as a male, between the ages of 25 and 40-years-old,and was seen wearing blue clothing. The investigation is ongoing.
April 13
Justafter 6:45 p.m., an officer responded to Embassy Suites, located at 211 E.Huntington Drive, regarding a residential burglary report. The victim statedshe witnessed the suspect in her hotel room, rummaging through her things. Thesuspect left without taking any property. The investigation is ongoing.
April 14
Around12:54 a.m., the Arcadia Police Department received an electronic police reportof a package theft from the 1800 block of South Tenth Avenue. Sometime between10:19 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. on April 8, the victim’s package was stolen from hisporch. No suspects were seen and no witnesses were located.
Justbefore 5:20 p.m., an officer responded to the intersection of Live Oak andSecond avenues regarding a recovered stolen vehicle. The officer discovered thestranded vehicle had been reported stolen out of Hollywood. The vehicle wasreleased to the registered owner. The investigation is ongoing.
April 15
Around6:44 a.m., an officer responded to the 300 block of South Second Avenueregarding a stolen vehicle report. Sometime during the previous evening, anunknown suspect stole the victim’s vehicle. No suspects were seen and nowitnesses were located.
Shortlyafter 9:29 a.m., an officer responded to the 2000 block of South Eighth Avenueregarding a stolen vehicle report. The officer discovered an unidentifiedsuspect stole the victim’s vehicle. No suspects were seen and no witnesses werelocated.
April 16
Before9:53 a.m., an officer responded to the intersection of Mayflower Avenue and ShrodeStreet regarding a mail theft report. An investigation revealed unknownsuspect(s) stole mail from victims in the 1100 block of Mayflower Avenue and inthe 1200 block of Shrode Street. No suspects were seen and no witnesses werelocated.
Around12:44 p.m., an officer responded to Cashbox KTV, locatedat 612 E. Live Oak Ave., regarding an attempted commercial burglary. Theofficer determined the suspect(s) smashed a front window but failed to enterthe business. No loss was reported. No suspects were seen and no witnesses werelocated.
April 17
Atapproximately 12:07 a.m., an officer responded to Albertsons, located at 298 E.Live Oak Ave., regarding a battery report. An investigation revealed analtercation between a transient and the store employee resulted in thetransient punching the employee multiple times. The 26-year-old female fromPasadena was cited in the field.
Atabout 7:56 p.m., an officer responded to Drive-In Liquor Store, located at 10E. Huntington Drive, regarding a robbery report. The officer discovered fourfemales entered the business, and when they were confronted by the store clerkfor stealing cigars, one of the suspects hit the victim in the face. The suspectsare described as a black female, approximately 6 feet tall with long black hairand a white female with brown hair. The investigation is ongoing.
April 18
Justbefore 11:58 a.m., an officer received a telephonicreport of a package theft from a residence in the 2200 block of Santa AnitaAvenue. Surveillance footage revealed a male suspect, possibly white orHispanic, seen wearing dark clothing, stole the victim’s packages. Theinvestigation is ongoing.
Shortlyafter 3:16 p.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 2200 block ofHighland Vista Drive regarding a domestic dispute. An investigation revealed anargument occurred between a boyfriend and girlfriend resulting in the femalehalf refusing to leave. The 32-year-old female from Los Angeles was arrestedand transported to the Arcadia City Jail for booking.
Atapproximately 7:42 p.m., an officer received a telephonic report of a theftinvestigation that occurred in the 700 block of West Lemon Avenue. Surveillancefootage revealed the suspect stole three residential mailboxes. The suspect isdescribed as a white or Hispanic male, approximately 25 to 35-years-old, andwas seen wearing a black face mask and black clothing. The suspect fled in anolder model, black Chevrolet Silverado truck. The investigation is ongoing.
