Shortly before 7:20 a.m., officers responded tothe 00 block of West Lemon Avenue regarding a series of mail theft reports.During the previous night, mail had been stolen from a number of mailboxeslocated on Lemon Avenue, Sharon Road, Norman Avenue, Palm Drive, FlorenceAvenue, and Los Altos Avenue. Some of the mail had been discarded in theroadway. The investigation is ongoing.
At approximately 1:23 p.m.,an officer responded to Macy’s, 400 S. Baldwin Ave., regarding a shopliftingreport. The officer discovered the suspect, a 73-year-old female from Alhambra,had stolen more than $2,000 worth of merchandise and was also the suspect ofmultiple shoplifting reports over the past month. She was arrested andtransported to the Arcadia City Jail for booking.

Just after 9:19 a.m., an officer responded to TruthTheology Seminary, 141 E. Duarte Road, regarding a commercial burglary. Aninvestigation revealed the unidentified suspect, likely a transient, enteredthe locked bathroom overnight and ransacked the storage room. The loss isunknown as of March 10. The investigation is ongoing.
At approximately 1:57 p.m., an officer respondedto the 2700 block of Bradford Avenue regarding a stolen vehicle report. Sometimebetween 10 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. on March 2, an unknown suspect stole the victim’s1989 Toyota truck. No suspects were seen and no witnesses were located.

Around 11:54 a.m., an officer responded to aresidence in the 300 block of California Street regarding a vandalism report.The officer determined an unknown suspect smashed the window of a house forsale for no apparent reason. No suspects were seen and no witnesses werelocated.
Just before 7:50 p.m., an officer responded toJCPenney, 400 S. Baldwin Ave., regarding a vehicle burglary report. The victimdiscovered the suspect tampered with the lock to his truck bed storagecontainer and fled with various tools. No suspects were seen and no witnesseswere located.

Around 9:59 a.m., an officer responded to aresidence in the 2600 block of South Third Avenue regarding a petty theftreport. After renting out his garage through Airbnb to unknown tenants, thevictim discovered his speakers and subwoofers had been stolen. The investigationis ongoing.
Shortly after 11:50 a.m., an officer respondedto the 700 block of Country Oaks Lane regarding a burglary report. Surveillancefootage revealed two suspects entered the Country Oaks Association pool storageroom through an open window and stole cans of spray paint. The suspects werelater identified as a 34-year-old male from Pomona and a 23-year-old femalefrom Lancaster. The investigation is ongoing.

Before 12:18 p.m., an officer responded to theintersection of Colorado Boulevard and San Antonio Road regarding a vandalismreport. The suspect was witnessed spray painting on a city wall. The27-year-old male from Burbank was arrested and transported to the Arcadia CityJail for booking.
Around 3:56 p.m., anofficer responded to Eisenhower Park, 601 N. Second Ave., regarding acommercial burglary report. The officer determined an unidentified suspectforced open a storage shed near the baseball fields and fled with variousequipment. No suspects were seen and no witnesses were located.

At about 4:02 a.m., officers responded to theintersection of Baldwin Avenue and Las Tunas Drive regarding a stolen vehicle.Officers were alerted of a stolen vehicle in the area and upon contacting thedriver, a records check revealed the driver, a 28-year-old male from SanGabriel had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant and was on felony probation.Both the driver and the 26-year-old male passenger from Covina were arrestedfor grand theft of a vehicle and transported to the Arcadia City Jail forbooking.
Just before 4:24 p.m., anofficer responded to a residence in the 00 block of West Woodruff Avenueregarding a fraud report. A victim discovered the suspect(s) used her personalinformation to open numerous checking accounts. The victim does not know howthe suspect obtained her personal information or the identity of thesuspect.
March7
Shortly after 1:45 p.m., an officer responded toa residence in the 2500 block of Florence Avenue regarding a residentialburglary report. Sometime between Feb. 20 and March 7th, unknownsuspects shattered a kitchen window and fled with an unknown amount ofproperty. The investigation is ongoing.
At approximately 4:12 p.m., an officer respondedto Boba Ave Express, 1437 Baldwin Ave., regarding a robbery report. Aninvestigation revealed a fight occurred between 20 people resulting in arobbery of one victim, multiple thefts, and mutual battery incidents. Theinvestigation is ongoing.
