Dead Infant Found in Pasadena Memorial Park

Maintenance staff at a Pasadena park made a gruesome discovery when they were cleaning the restrooms Thursday night. They immediately called the police.

At approximately 10:10 p.m. Pasadena Police officers responded to Memorial Park, located at 85 E. Holly St., regarding a call of a possible lifeless infant located in a stall of the women’s restroom.

The baby appeared to be a full term newborn female according to Pasadena Police.

Officers and paramedics arrived on scene, located and confirmed that the infant was deceased. Officers commenced canvassing the area for potential evidence and witnesses. Detectives responded to the scene to continue with the investigation.

Los Angeles County Coroner Investigator responded to the scene and took custody of the infant.

The manner of death remains under investigation at this time.
