Jehnny Beth is a French performing artist, singer and musician. If you’re bored with the top radio hits, it’s time to dig a little deeper. The hot and androgynous Jehnny Beth has just released her new video “I’m The Man” directed by Peaky Blinders’ Anthony Byrne featuring a spoken word intro from Irish actor and musician Cillian Murphy.
The short film was written and directed by Anthony Byrne the Dublin born director and writer known for In Darkness (2018), Peaky Blinders (2013), and Ripper Street (2012). The short film instantly puts you in an uncertain heart beating position. The song “I’m The Man” was introduced in season 5 of Peaky Blinders and is part of the shows official soundtrack.

The opening scene takes you into a dark damp night. The camera pan makes you take a right turn into an alley that could change your life forever. The European collaboration seemingly points at the American political turmoil with the opening spoken word performed by Cillian Murphy.
The epicene Beth has no trouble keeping your attention as she flexes her singing, acting and physical performing talents in every second of the film, offering samples of her stretched out diversity. This short film as opposed to “video” is a piece of art with an electric metal rhythm. The lyrics and Beth’s performance allows you 4 minutes to feel what it is to be a powerful force in a super rough world. Beth is sexy, fearless and intimidating all at the same time in this visual piece of art by Anthony Byrne.
