Community Table: Ready for Harvest Punch?

About a year ago I searched everywhere for a simple autumn punchto make for a Halloween office party (yeah, I snuck in the booze). This by farwas the best recipe I found to be adaptable, quick, and perfect for theholidays or any house party—remember those?

HARVEST PUNCH

6 cups of ice
1 gallon of apple cider
1 bottle of sparkling wine (champagne or prosecco)
2 (12-ounce) bottles of ginger beer (with or without alcohol)
1 cup of vodka
2 or 3 sliced apples

  1. Get a large punch bowl or beverage dispenser and add all the above ingredients.
  2. Stir and adjust the taste. You may want more cider, wine and of course vodka!
  3. Garnish the glasses with oranges, cinnamon sticks or more sliced apples.

If you found a great recipe you would like to share, email me at sslaboch@beaconmedianews.com.
