The City of Arcadia is rolling out an improved online experience for residents, businesses, and visitors on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019. Although the look, feel, and functions of the site are different, how you connect with the city will remain the same: ArcadiaCA.gov.

Powered by Revize, one of the most exciting features on the new site is a best-in-class smart search tool enabling residents to quickly find what they are looking for. “It’s like shopping on Amazon for public services,” said City Manager Dominic Lazzaretto. “Our community will appreciate how quick and easy it will be to find the services and information they are looking for. We wanted to reinvent the way the community engages with its local government. This website does that.”

In addition to enhanced tools like submitting online service requests, payments, and multi-lingual translation, the organization of the website has been completely overhauled with the end-user in mind. The new site is grouped by similar functions and services in a concerted effort to connect citizens to services in as few clicks as possible.

To accomplish this goal, city departments and their corresponding services have been organized into four categories:

  • Enrich Arcadia: Wellness, lifelong learning, recreation, and community programs.
  • Protect Arcadia: Public safety, emergency preparedness, and crime prevention.
  • Shape Arcadia: Business development, construction, streets, utilities, and public spaces.
  • Discover Arcadia: City news, special events, and general information.

These four categories mirror the city’s social media presence as well to help facilitate targeted communication and community engagement.

For more information about the new website, please contact the City Manager’s Office at (626) 574-5401.
