Powerhouse percussion ensemble Makoto Taiko celebrates their 20th Anniversary concert “Momentum” at the Arcadia Performing Arts Center, 188 Campus Drive, Arcadia, on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, June 9, 2019 at 3 p.m.

The renowned Pasadena-based ensemble of 70 performers will feature Grammy-Award winning Taiko master Koji Nakamura, Grammy-nominated Taiko musician, composer, and producer Shoji Kameda, renowned shakuhachi flutist Rachel Rudich, and exciting koto artist Kozue Matsumoto.

An artist meet-and-greet after the concert will be held on both Saturday and Sunday. Tickets start at $15 mezzanine to $40 in the front orchestra.  Makoto Taiko’s world-class professional artists, dedicated community performers, and delightful youth ensembles join forces in this once-in-a-lifetime, commemorative celebration.
