May 21 will be the last meeting of the year for the Monrovia League, but they will resume in September.

The group’s meeting for this month will be held at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church at 122 S. California and the corner of Foothill. Refreshments will be served at 9:30 a.m. and the program will begin at 10.

Their guest speaker will be Kirk McGinnis, principal of Monrovia High School. The French teacher, Holly Williams, who benefited from the League’s donations will be present. Bill Moore, the Monrovia High School choir director, will receive a donation from the league.

Attend the meeting to learn about your community and the League’s work in the community.
