On April 18 from 7-8:30 p.m., Arcadia Public Library is hosting a workshop for those who are curious about starting their own freelancing business. The program covers: how to establish your niche, prepare to transition to full-time freelancing, and tips on creating your own structure, security and sense of community. This program will be presented by Jackie Lam.
Jackie Lam is an L.A.-based content marketer and freelance writer who is passionate about helping creatives with their finances and to cultivate community among entrepreneurs. Her clients include Fortune 500 companies and FinTech startups, and her work has appeared in Forbes, Business Insider, and GOOD. She is currently studying to be a financial educator (AFC® certification) to help artists and freelancers with their money. She blogs at heyfreelancer.com.

This event is free, registration is not required.
