4 Events and 22 Tips to Celebrate Earth Day on Sunday
Earth Day is quickly approaching this Sunday, Apr. 22 and will be the 48th anniversary of the beginning of the environmental event in 1970. The movement nearly 50 years ago brought together people from all cultures, religions, and political alignments and advocated for a better, cleaner planet to entrust to future generations. Today, Earth Day is still just as prevalent, despite climate change deniers, politicians, an increasingly disinterested public, and oil lobbyists. After all, the earth is here for each and every one of us to share and we need to ensure through our actions and policies that we will pass down a clean environment and a love for nature.
Here are 4 events to attend to celebrate Earth Day and 22 small changes you can make in your life to be more environmentally friendly.
