While an appropriate long-term tenant for the historic Monrovia Santa Fe Depot is being sought, an interim use for the building has been found. The Monrovia Historical Society will showcase a photographic exhibit at the depot.
According to Sandy Burud a sample of approximately 100 photographs of Old Monrovia from the Legacy’s collection.
It is free and will be open every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 4 pm starting this Saturday, March 3rd and running through April. Admission is free. Members of the Historical Society will be on hand to take orders for prints of any of the historic photos.
The entire Legacy collection will be available for viewing on line at the Monrovia Library later this year.
This will give everyone in the community an opportunity to see the newly refurbished depot as well as a peek at the Legacy collection.
