According to Community Development Director, Craig Jimenez, two more microbreweries are looking to open here in Monrovia. The two are looking to open next door to one another on West Maple Avenue. Both are looking to manufacture small batch brews and both plan to have small tasting rooms at the facilities when they are operational.

David Robkin is looking to open Wingwalker Brewery at 235 West Maple Avenue. Ryan McKay hopes to have his Over Town Brewing Company open at 227 West Maple Avenue. Both owners hope to be open by this summer.

These two will bring the total number of microbreweries in Monrovia to be four. They will join Pacific Plate Brewing Company at 1999 South Myrtle that opened several years ago and Hop Secret at 162 West Pomona Avenue that opened last September.
