As many of our regular readers and advertisers will note, there have been some subtle, albeit, significant changes in both our print edition and notably our corresponding websites. The Monrovia Weekly launches an exciting transformation in hopes of providing a more enhanced look.

Our creative and spirited graphics and production team has crafted a more vibrant, attention-grabbing look which we hope will inspire more readers to all our platforms on a regular basis to get local relevant news you can trust.

We’ve added some new features over the past few months that have garnered industry accolades and we hope you like the new, enhanced look of our newspapers and our vastly increased presence on the internet and social media.

As an independent publisher, we are not bound by corporate manipulation and therefore can focus our attention on unbiased journalism; of this, we are profoundly committed.

Our team of experts in all aspects of publishing now offers readers and a multimedia package that includes all the major social media applications. In addition to the more conventional print method, we’re bridging a generation gap {if you will} with a solid foundation of knowledge, news and the ever-growing power of social media and how these applications play a significant role in our communities.

We hope you enjoy the new look of each of our papers and, as always, welcome your thoughts and or concerns.

The one thing that hasn’t changed in the company is our absolute commitment to you, our loyal readers and advertisers for the past 20 years. Since 1996 we have printed local award winning news and photojournalism, thought-provoking reviews, in-depth interviews, entertainment and commentary that affects your life and your community.

We remain unwavering in our philosophy of being your local, trusted community news source; print and digital. Simply put, we hope to give you the best of both worlds.

We hope you’ll continue to read and inwardly digest our look at your ever-changing world.
