Monrovia’s 7th annual Fountain to Falls race will be held on Saturday, May 13 starting at 7 a.m. Registrations for participating in the race are being taken on the city’s website: www.cityofmonrovia.org. Early registration is $35 until May 10 or until the maximum number of participant is reached. Only 325 participants are allowed. If space is still available, registration on the day of the race will be $45.
All participants will receive a T-shirt and participation ribbon. Medals will be awarded for first, second and third place in each age category.
The race will run between from the fountain front of the Library, 321 South Myrtle to the waterfall in Canyon Park. The route is 6.38 miles, to the falls and back to the fountain. For more information on the race contact the Monrovia Public Services Department at (626) 256-8246
There will also be health and wellness Booths along Myrtle Avenue on the day of the race from 6:30 a.m. to 10 am.
