Pasadena Police Blotters: Oct. 28 – Nov. 5

Oct. 28

In the early morning, Pasadena Police officers investigated an auto-burglary in the area of Rosemont Avenue and Washington Boulevard. The loss included a loaded pistol and other personal items. Our investigation is ongoing.

Oct. 30

At 10:23 a.m., Pasadena Police officers responded to the 50 block of Washington Blvd. regarding a death investigation. On arrival, officers learned that the victim suffered from a long-term illness. There was no apparent foul play or suspicious circumstances at the location. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office responded and took custody of the decedent.

Oct. 31

At about 4:07 p.m., Pasadena Police officers responded to the 200 block of S. Raymond Ave. regarding a man wearing a mask and carrying a knife. Offices arrived quickly and made contact with the suspect. Complying with the officer’s orders to drop the knife, the suspect was taken into custody without incident.

 Nov.3

At about 3:52 p.m., Pasadena Police officers responded to the area of Foothill Boulevard and Oak Grove Drive regarding a three-vehicle traffic collision. On arrival, officers learned that one of the involved vehicles was a motorcycle. The motorcyclist was in critical condition and was transported to a local hospital. Occupants from the other two involved vehicles were also injured and transported to area hospitals. The Pasadena Police Department’s Major Collision Investigation Team responded and is reviewing the collision.

Nov. 5

At 12:13 a.m., Pasadena Police officers investigated calls of shots fired in the area of Del Mar Boulevard and Raymond Avenue. Officers recovered evidence of a shooting; however, they were not able to find any suspects or victims. Witnesses were generally uncooperative and only provided limited information to the officers. During the preliminary investigation, a male adult was dropped off at a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg. He was treated for the injury and released from the hospital.

At 1:33 a.m., Pasadena Police officers investigated calls of shots fired in the 500 block of N. Fair Oaks Ave. On arrival, officers found evidence of a shooting; however, they did not find any suspects or victims. Witnesses stated the suspect (Black Male, 20s, wearing all black clothing) was shooting at a vehicle driving on Fair Oaks Avenue.
