The Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) has announced that it will close its Monrovia office on Nov. 1.
The gas company has begun sending out notices of the closure.
On Aug. 31, ads were published in various newspaper outlets in English, Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, and Farsi. Direct mail letters were sent to all customers that visited the office in the last six months.
For those who still wish to pay their bills in person, they may do so at the Pasadena office of the company, 1214 E. Green St. There are also other authorized payment locations, including the Monrovia Financial Center at 412 W. Foothill Blvd., and Walmart in Duarte, 1600 Mountain Ave.
