The Pasadena Rotary Club is hosting its second annual fundraising event titled, “Help Pasadena Rotary Help Others.”

The event will be held at Bob and Arlene Oltman’s third floor residence at the Pasadena Museum of California Art on Aug. 18, starting at 6 p.m., and is expected to draw 200 Rotarians and their guests.

Everyone is welcome to attend the fundraiser, which includes the “Taste of Rotary,” Jazz with the David Minasian Trio, Popular Wine Pull, live/silent auctions, and a wonderful art show from local fine art artists, including members of the Mid Valley Arts League.

It will be a wonderful rooftop night of fundraising and fellowship.

All proceeds from the event will support those in need in the Pasadena community through the many projects the Rotary Club holds such as: Happy Feet, which provides new shoes for PUSD elementary students at the start of the school year; Adopt-A-School, Rotary adopts several PUSD schools and supports them in various ways throughout the year; Done In A Day, where Rotary members assist local non-profits with painting, cleaning, gardening, building, projects that can be completed in a day; Holiday Toy Drive; and RYLA-Teen Leadership Project, to name a just a few.
