From 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 27 Deaf Ability Resource (DAR) will be registering runners, recording sponsors for each runner, and selling t-shirts as a fundraiser at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. Money raised through this event will go to Deaf Ability Resource to enrich the quality of lives of persons who are deaf, hard-of-hearing, latened-deaf, and deaf-at-risk.
Each participant can register for $25 at the registration table located at the event. Friends and family can sponsor runners by filling out their information on the participant’s registration form. Sponsors can sign up to pay $1, $5, $10, or more per completed lap.
DAR t-shirts will be available for purchase at the event for $24 each.
