
The City of Monrovia has listed its annex facility on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) with a minimum bid of $670,000.
The building, a historically-landmarked home located at 200 E. Lime Ave., was built in 1906.
Known as the Tillapaugh House, the home sits on an 8,000-square-foot corner lot in the heart of Old Town. At 2,331 square feet, the building was used for overflow office space housing the now defunct Monrovia Redevelopment Agency. While in need of repairs including painting, it does boast three bedrooms, a den, a half bath, sizeable living room, and a detached one car garage. It is ideal as an office, but with some work could be reconverted into a home.
Since it has landmark status already, it is eligible for a Mills Contract that can offer the new owner significant property tax savings.
