In the aftermath of the San Gabriel Complex Fire, Fire Chief Brad Dover coordinated a post-incident assessment for members of the city’s management team.

As a part of that assessment, a review was conducted of the areas of town, which are most at risk in case of a fire.

According to Dover, a road tour of the high-fire danger areas, identified Norumbega Drive and Starlit Lane neighborhoods as the locations most at risk for fire related danger.

The city will engage in additional brush clearance in the public rights-of-way in these areas.  The city is developing better vegetation management and maintenance plans for these areas.
