July 10

At 4:29 p.m., Engine 105 and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to a medical assist in the 600 block of West Duarte Road. Upon arrival, fire personnel evaluated an 87-year-old female experiencing dizziness and weakness. The patient received advanced life support measures on scene including oxygen therapy, 12-lead cardiac monitoring, intravenous access, and blood glucose monitoring. The patient was transported to Methodist Hospital of Southern California for further evaluation and treatment.

 July 11

At 5:08 p.m., Engine 105, Rescue Ambulance 105, and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to an auto versus motorcycle traffic collision in the 00 block of West Duarte Road. Upon arrival, fire personnel assessed two motorcycle riders who sustained minor to moderate injuries after falling from their motorcycle. Both patients received advanced life support measures on scene including full spinal immobilization, oxygen therapy, intravenous access, and cardiac monitoring. The patients were transported to Huntington Memorial Hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

July 12

At 7:02 p.m., Engine 106 and Alhambra Rescue Ambulance 71 responded to a medical call in the 400 block of North Monterey Street in the city of Alhambra. Fire crews arrived on scene and found a male patient complaining of weakness. Fire crews assessed the patient who subsequently refused additional assistance. Engine 106 was providing station coverage for the Alhambra Fire Department prior to being dispatched.

July 13

At 5:45 p.m., Engine 105 and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to a medical call in the 100 block of Santa Cruz Road. Upon arrival, fire crews evaluated an 89-year-old male complaining of shortness of breath. Paramedics provided advanced life support measures on scene including 12-lead cardiac monitoring and oxygen therapy. The patient was transported to Methodist Hospital of Southern California for further evaluation and treatment.

July 14

At 10:39 a.m., Engine 107 and Rescue Ambulance 105 responded to a medical assist in the 400 block of East Santa Clara Street. Fire crews arrived on scene to find a 51-year-old male who had experienced a seizure. Paramedics assessed the patient and performed advanced life support measures on scene including 12-lead cardiac monitoring and intravenous drug therapy. The patient was transported to Methodist Hospital of Southern California for further evaluation and treatment.

July 15

At 11:09 p.m., Rescue Ambulance 105 and Monrovia Engine 102 responded to a reported assault in the 5400 block of South Peck Road. Fire crews arrived to find a 43-year-old female complaining of head and neck pain after being assaulted by her boyfriend. Paramedics provided basic life support measures on scene including full spinal immobilization. The patient was transported to Methodist Hospital of Southern California for further evaluation and treatment.

July 16

At 4:11 a.m., Engine 106 and Truck 105, along with units from the Pasadena Fire Department, responded to a structure fire in the 3500 block of East Foothill Boulevard in the City of Pasadena. Units arrived on scene to find a small fire that had been extinguished by a fire
