Innovate Pasadena Hires Celina Guerrero as Director of Marketing and Operations

Innovate Pasadena (IP), the non-profit organization committed to promoting innovation in the Pasadena-area, announced marketing and sales professional Celina Guerrero as the organization’s first full-time staff member. As the Director of Marketing and Operations, Guerrero will work closely with the IP board and committees to manage all IP programs and promotion efforts, board relations, financial administration and marketing strategies for the organization.

“We are a volunteer-driven, community organization that has seen major success in more than 300 events and engagement from more than 15,000 people in the region,” said Mike Giardello, co-founder of Innovate Pasadena. “In order to continue with these efforts and keep our growth on track, we decided to bring in an individual dedicated full-time to the cause. Celina’s background and passion for business and entrepreneurship in the region will be instrumental to taking our efforts to the next level.”

Guerrero is a Pasadena native and a graduate of the University of Southern California with more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and event production. Her first major order of business will focus on the planning and promotion of the upcoming Innovate Pasadena ConnectWeek taking place from October 19-25. The week-long series of independently organized seminars, workshops and social events will be hosted in the Pasadena area and focus on one of four tracks: business/Entrepreneurship, Design, Technology and Science.
