Listen Up: Odesza + Little Dragon’s “Light” Collab

ODESZA

Electronic DJ/Production duo Odesza have been having one heck of a year. The pair broke out of the Seattle music scene in 2012 with their first album Summer’s Gone, In 2013 after scoring the opening gig for Pretty Lights’ Analog Future Tour they had the attention of the electronic music scene and did not disappoint, their 2014 album In Return was one of the most acclaimed albums of the year.

Our infatuation with Odesza is nothing new, back in February of 2013 LA CANVAS spoke to the group when they only had 4 shows under their belt, which is mind boggling considering that this year alone Odesza has played almost every major music festival including; Outside Lands, Lollapalooza, HARD Summer, Electric Forest, What The Festival?!, Firefly, Bonaroo, Governors Ball, Sasquatch, Lighting In A Bottle, Coachella, Ultra, multiple SXSW showcases, CRSSD and many more.

Light, the new collaboration with Little Dragon is what we’ve come to love and expect from the band, a dreamy ethereal composition which transports the listener to an elevated state of peace.

A deluxe edition of In Return LP will be out September 18th + Catch Odesza at The Shrine Auditorium on December 12th.
