The Vacation Issue Playlist: Till Von Sein

The Vacation Issue is here, and the best way to get into issue celebration mode—and Independence Day mode—is to share the official playlist curated by Till Von Sein. We spoke with the Berlin born, globe-trotting producer + DJ in an exclusive interview right here, where he talks about his current state in LA along with other fine things—and since he’s chivalrous—he went ahead and detailed out a story to accompany each track to include why he chose it and what about it resonates with him. If you want to go to paradise, head over for his set this Saturday, July 4th for Rhondesia Independence Day at SkyBar LA. We’ll be rolling through to give him some print. Take a look, listen:

Nick Monaco – Ancient Ritual (Lele Sacchi remix!)

Played this some weeks ago in Riga /latvia in a room full of beautiful women and had one of the best moments this year so far. Lele did something magical with this remix for Nick.

Dj Spen,Todd Terry – Stone Fox Chase (Manno Remix)

I had the big honor to play The Do Lab stage at Coachella this year. This was the first track of my set and it will always remind me of that moment in the hot desert sun in Palm Springs.

Childish Gambino – Late night in Kauai

I’ve listened to this one countless times on long weekend trip around the world keeps me calm and brings me into a good mood

Prince – Breakfast Can Wait

I’ve been a hug Prince fan ever since and the last album is still on rotation while being at home answering emails etc.—can’t wait to get the chance and finally see him live ASAP!

DJ Gregory & Gregor Salto – Canoa

This reminds me of playing in Panama City the first time in a beautiful open air location in the old district surrounded by palm trees and the most amazing architecture one can imagine. When the chant dropped every body went totally nuts..still getting goosebumps writing about it.

Sade – Mermaids

I need Sade in my life, every Sunday after a long w end on the flight home I listen to her music and its the best way for me to just take it easy and relax.

Adam Port – E Sound Edit

One of the most played jams for this year, and reminiscing about that show in San Juan PR the night before heading to Coachella. Magic!

Maze – Joy and Pain

All time fave of mine. The live in New Orleans version is the one..perfect in every kind of situation!

7 Days of Funk – Let It Go

Dam and Snoop is a match made in heaven. Their album was my winter soundtrack in 2013 while traveling for 2 months. So many lovely beach memories with this one.

Terrence Parker – Love’s Got Me High (Jimpster Remix)

Seeing the locals in Johannesburg singing along to Jimpster’s synths and celebrating like their national football team just won the world cup. Words cant describe this feeling…

Tommy Guerrero – Gone Again

Tommy was a huge inspiration growing up as a Skater. His first solo album is a staple on my iphone. long bike rides through berlin, this is my soundtrack!

Tigerskin – Heat

One of those tracks for those moments when you can tell the crowd is already up for 2 days, that typical Berlin vibe! I’ve seen guys cry to this on the floor.
