Warm summer evenings will give way to the coolest party in town when the Pasadena Civic Auditorium Plaza again plays host to the annual Party on the Plaza Summer Concert Series featuring tributes to popular bands from not-so-long-ago.

This year’s three-show lineup will showcase an emblematic ’80s band, a tribute to David Bowie and a Journey cover group. The 2015 schedule is as follows:

June 26 – The Spazmatics – The Ultimate New Wave ’80s Show. All the awesome sounds, styles, and way cool dance steps from the 1980s decade we’d love to forget. Complete with skinny ties, Brill-Creamed hair and horn-rimmed glasses, The Spazmatics recapture all the best of the worst. We’re gonna party like it’s 1999; only it’s not!

July 24 – Space Oddity – David Brighton’s Tribute to David Bowie. A brilliant live recreation of rock and roll’s most electrifying performer’s legendary phenomenon in rock theater. From stadium-sized pop/rock legend to rock and roll space alien Ziggy Stardust, David Bowie look-alike/sound-alike David Brighton and his all-star band chronicle all of the international superstar’s Ch-Ch-Changes in electrifying Technicolor. Experience Bowiemania in this tribute.

August 14 – DSB – An American Journey, The World’s Greatest Journey Tribute Band. DSB has been highly revered as the “next best thing” to Journey. The group has captured the lush and signature sound of renowned vocalist Steve Perry and Journey in the band’s prime. Complete with a ensemble of world-class musicians, DSB remains true to Journey’s musical legacy and delivers the nostalgic concert experience that will keep you believin’.

All three shows begin at 7:30 p.m. and doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets priced at $10 for general admission and $20 and $30 for reserved table seats are available online at www.thepasadenacivic.com.

The Pasadena Civic Auditorium Plaza is located at 300 E. Green Street in Pasadena.
