A broken water pipe led police to seize about 700 growing marijuana plants from a house in Arcadia last week.
At 7:30 p.m. Friday at a home in the 200 block of East Newman Avenue, according to Arcadia PD.
The owner of what police described as an investment rental property was out of town and was informed of the leak by a neighbor, police said.
Detectives obtained and served a search warrant and once inside found that most of the home was being used as a grow house .
Anyone with information was urged to contact Arcadia police at (626) 574-5151.
