Taiwan Consulate will perform the first mobile consular service in Bakersfield on Nov 1

Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) will provide mobile consular services at Confucius Church in Bakersfield (2128 N. St., Bakersfield, CA. 93301) at 1:00-3:00 PM on November 1. It will be the first time TECO expanding the services to Bakersfield.

As a part of commitment to reach out more Taiwanese community in Southern California, Arizona and New Mexico, TECO is also planning to extend the services to Phoenix by the end of this year. These initiatives come from Steve Hsia, Director–General of TECO, who took office in mid-August this year. Currently these services are only provided in El Monte, Irvine and San Diego.
