October 23 — El Cholo’s Annual Tequila Tasting Tour at Pasadena Paseo Colorado’s upper courtyard (260 E. Colorado Blvd.) from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Sample dozens of premium tequilas while enjoying a taco/pupusa cart and appetizers along with live music. October 27 – Creepy Crafts at Civic Center Li0rary (Reese Hall – 101 S. First St.) from 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. A spooktacular afternoon of crafting is in store for children ages 3 to 12 years of age, just in time for Halloween. No registration is required; space and supplies limited. Free.
October 30 – Shrinky Dink Halloween Craft at Civic Center Library (Reese Hall – 101 S. First St.) from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Teens are invited to make Creepy Cupcake “Shrinky Dink” Halloween decorations, and then revel in some Halloween fun! Free.

October 27 — In-N-Out “Cover to Cover Club” at Arcadia Public Library (20 W. Duarte Rd.) at
10:00 a.m. Register for the program and read five books to earn a coupon for a free In-N-Out hamburger, cheeseburger, or cheese sandwich. Each child may earn up to three burger coupons during the program. Join the Cover to Cover fun! – FREE
October 30 — Halloween Fright Day at the Santa Anita Race Track

October 25 — Spooktacular Story time at Azusa Public Library -(729 N. Dalton Ave. Azusa) at 11:00 a.m – Free.
October 26 — ?11th Annual Trunk or Treat at 320 N. Orange Place from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The event will consist of food booths, a classic car show, and Halloween magic and puppet shows. Each classic car will give away Halloween treats to all trunk or treaters in attendance. October 28- – Halloween PJ Storytime at Buena Vista Brank Library (300 N. Buena Vista St.) from 6:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Youngsters are invited to wear costumes or pajamas to a special storytime, “Tales for Halloween.” Come for stories, songs, and a movie! Free.
El Monte
October 25 — El Monte’s Family Adventure Shuttle Travels to California Science Center at 10 a.m. Shuttle Departs from El Monte Trolley Station at 4:30 pm – Shuttle returns to Trolley StationVisit the California Science Center . $6.00 per person – Shuttle ride only/ admission to CSC not included.
October 30 – Trunk or Treat and Haunted Spooktacular at El Monte Community Center (3130 Tyler Ave.) from 5:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. Children visit decorated vehicle trunks and collect sweets and surprises. The first 500 children will receive a free goodie bag.” Activities will include game and food booths, arts and crafts vendors, music, as well as pictures with Halloween characters. Come join us again on our Pechanga Casino Fun'”d”Raiser, you will receive a free continental breakfast before loading on a luxury tour bus headed to Temecula. On the way, we will be playing Bingo and other games to share the profits with the attendees. Reasonably priced Cocktail refreshments, beer, wine, and water, in addition to snacks will be available for the trip. You must be 21 years or older to attend. This museum is primarily for children under eight years old and offers a farmers market corner and performing arts stage. Private rooms are available for birthday parties. Free.
October 24 — Pasadena Food Day Fall Festival at the Pasadena Department of Public Health
(1845 N. Fair Oaks Ave.) from 12:00 p.m.to 4:00 p.m. Join Mayor Bill Bogaard and Pasadena officials along with other City representatives. The local observation is a part of Food Day, a nationwide celebration and a movement for healthy, affordable, and sustainable food. Free.
October 24 — Wicked Lit 2014 Presents Draculas Guest La Llorona and The Monk at Mountain View Mausoleum (2300 N. Marengo Ave., Altadena) from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Join playwrights, directors and/or producers of Wicked Lit 2014 in several locations throughout the mausoleum to get the inside scoop on how Wicked Lit is made! Hear anecdotes from the creatives behind Wicked Lit and discover the inspiration for our productions. This is a moving show with many stairs to climb! Patrons should wear comfortable shoes.
