Letter to the Editor: Let parents decide on healthy food for kids – Not Government

Dear Editor:

I don’t think the Government should be trying to tell school kids what to eat. That’s a job for the parents.
Food is thrown out in Los Angeles County Schools because the kids just won’t eat certain foods.
Our First Lady certainly means well, but you cannot force kids to eat something they don’t like.
Lowering salt and sugar (the big problem) content is good but food education and choice is the job for parents.
