Last Thursday, we kicked off the season of giving with our Holiday Shopping Soiree and Art Auction at Ebanos Crossing, held in support of the Aviva Center. It was a night of artists, friends, and individuals gathering together for drinks, artwork, live music, and essentially, to party for a good cause.

With a hosted bar and live sounds provided by DJ Savi and DJ Sam Spiegel, the night was set for relaxation and unwinding.  The art gallery at the auction displayed works by LA artist Thank You X, photographer Ted EmmonsSand One, and more, while various gift packages contained presents fitting for even the most specified of wish lists.  Some highlights included a fully styled outfit from Koshka, stationery goodies from Poketo, Incase laptop and phone cases and Urbanears headphones from The Fndtn, and individualized cut and color salon sessions from Jonathan & George Salon

In addition to the generous donations and patrons of Thursday night’s auction, we also give a special thank you to all who came out to our Benefit Raffle, held at the Parlour the following Sunday, as well as a shoutout to Marc Johnson for arranging the entire collection of Lakai shoes that we were able to give to 45 families. With both Thursday’s auction and Sunday’s raffle combined, our Holiday Shopping Soiree was able to raise a cumulative total of over $4500 in proceeds for the Aviva Center–and we thank everyone who made it possible.

Amidst the busy season of constant partying, endless shopping, and overloaded work, we are grateful to all who came out to show their support and generosity to our community because after all, what better time to give than the season of giving?
