Depression kills, treatment works for older adults in need of help
Have you ever felt the need to talk to a caring professional about a life changing event such as the death of a loved one, dealing with the stress of financial problems, or coping with a serious medical condition? If so, did you know help is available?If you are 55 years or older and have limited or no insurance a new program now available may be for you. It is called the Community Based Prevention Early Intervention Program (PEI).
This is a confidential program offered by the County of Los Angeles Community and Senior Services Department serving greater San Gabriel Valley. The program provides a wonderful opportunity to get free short term counseling sessions.
