Complete Pasadena’s “ZERO WASTE SURVEY” by Oct 15

Imagine a future for the City Pasadena in about 30 years from now where there is no such thing as garbage and everything we throw away today is recycled or reused.
The City of Pasadena invites the public, including residents, business owners and other stakeholders, to help develop the Zero Waste Strategic Plan. Your input is valuable as we move toward the City’s ambitious goal to achieve Zero Waste by 2040.
In 2006, the Pasadena City Council adopted the United Nations Green Cities declaration and Urban Environmental Accords, which provides the framework for the “Green City Action Plan.” Achieving zero waste by 2040 is one of the actions provided by the Urban Environmental Accords. Developing a Zero Waste Strategic Plan is a first step to reaching this goal.
So, take the Zero Waste 2040 Survey today! It’s easy and fun and your input is vital. The survey runs until October 15.
To take the online survey, click on the Zero Waste Survey link on the Department of Public Works’ homepage at www.cityofpasadena.net/PublicWorks .
Survey results will be posted on the same webpage by the end of October.
