The Rotary Club met earlier this week to help Kim Rhode, Monrovia’s own Olympic Athlete. She attended the club’s meeting Tuesday and was presented with a check to assist in her expenses preparing for the Olympic Games next month. This will be her fifth Olympic games. She has medaled each time she has competed in the Olympics. If she succeeds in winning another medal in this Olympics, she will be the only athlete to ever win medals in five Olympic Games. Rhodes is a trap skeet shooter.
